Who is this course for?
This course is designed to comply with the legislative requirements of persons involved in the safe use and care of hand held tools and power tools within a working environment, as required under Health & Safety legislation, PUWER etc.
Course outline:
- Health and Safety Legislation
- Identify and safely use a range of hand and power tools
- The risks and hazards of working with hand and power tools
- Carry our basic engineering tasks
- The importance of pre and post use checks
- Workshop practice tasks
- Practical exercises of hand and power tools
