Role: The Engineering College is looking to recruit a Marketing Coordinator to a varied and exciting role which will include a range of engaging responsibilities. Passionate about raising brand awareness, the role will suit a candidate interested in the engineering industry and further education sector as a commercial environment.
With a strong grounding in business and marketing, the ideal candidate will have an excellent command of the English language with the ability to write quality copy, proofread and publish dynamic written, graphic, and video content to promote the brand. The content you create will promote audience interaction, increase audience presence on company sites and engage audience participation.
To drive growth and engagement, you will be responsible for creating engaging content for the Company’s social media presence including new and emerging social media platforms, seeking out new ways of connecting with audiences, using scheduling and analytics for targeted campaigns. A working knowledge of content management systems including WordPress with an understanding of how to generate and analyse reports using software such as Google Analytics is essential.
The role will span website management where, working with the Creative Hub team, you will ensure all content that appears on the website is timely and engaging and aligned to our business and marketing strategy while also optimising content following SEO and pay-per-click.
To help you hit the ground running, a working knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks and associated funding rules and regulations would be an advantage. A qualification in professional and/or digital marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing is desirable.
In addition to the above you will be a team player and an effective communicator with the ability to cope under pressure and happy to work on a variety of tasks.
Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 per annum (subject to negotiation, dependent upon experience)
There is an opportunity for hybrid working which will consist of attendance at the workplace for 5 days per week during the three-month probationary period, after which you will be required to attend the workplace for a minimum of 3 days with 2 days working from home each week.
