Applying for an Apprenticeship has never been easier!

The Engineering College has this month rolled out a digital applications platform, as part of an ongoing ‘Digitalisation’ project to bring the business closer to Industry 4.0.

This new platform replaces the original paper-based application form and enables people to remotely apply – a welcome benefit during the current period of Covid-19, and in the future beyond the pandemic. In addition to enabling applicants to remotely apply, the platform makes the application process is quicker and simpler for the applicant (taking on average 6 minutes to complete the form!)

Building on this digital applications platform, the Digital Business Development team have developed a portal for applicants, streamlining the application process to ensure that applicants do not need to make unnecessary visits to the campus and instead can complete relevant assessments remotely.

The team are also rolling out more digital support to employers and current students in the coming weeks that will improve programme delivery, communication and support offered to both clients and students.
